It's obvious that ICE is helping Trump pad his numbers, but also, it looks like they are doing it because the ICE agents are scared. The most some construction or restaurant workers will do is run. That'll give the agents some cardio for the day. But in the gang neighborhoods? The ones full of MS13 - those guys will fight back. ICE knows this and doesn't want to engage.

So they'll pad their numbers with the low-hanging fruit. Trump can boast about how many illegals he deported, and then when an actual illegal criminal commits a crime, Trump can shrug his shoulders and say something like, "It's because Biden let so many in. Look how many I got rid of! And there are still so many bad guys to round up." [/quote]
