Hamas and the US had agreed to a ceasefire; Most of these terms had already been agreed with Witkoff Netanyahu intervened, forcing key commitments — including the removal of Hamas and Gaza governance handover — to be stripped from the deal and demanding that Hamas remain in power. Hamas states that provisions in the original ceasefire deal appear to be modified in order to prevent any long term peace solution. It seems more and more that Israel and Netanyahu need an excuse to continue the genocide and ultimately Israel doesn't want any agreement in which Palestinians stay in Gaza. And obviously, it was never about the hostages either. Not sure I trust “Dropsitenews.com”
+1 Or "The Cradle Media," whatever that is. It's clear the OP has an agenda.
Dropsite news is great. Founded and run by Jeremy Scahill and Ryan Grim, who were at the Intercept for a long time. They’ve broken a lot of important news from Gaza. Their reporting has been influential in getting the truce with the Houthis and even some domestic stories. They reported on a multi million dollar contract the state department had made with Tesla that was cancelled, partly because of their reporting on it. In a nutshell , they are very reliable and have done some real stellar work since starting up last year.
