CES is an ELA/social studies program, not math. Compacted math is available both at CES and in general-education programs. If your child isn't placed there you should ask.

You can probably have your child evaluated now for placement on the CES waitlist, if your child is going into 4th. Contact DCCAPS.

DP. Our experience was that moving here in 4th meant never being evaluated for CES. DC did get compacted math and ELA enrichment, but that was several years ago. I know offerings depend on school and change over time.

We had to wait until 5th for DC to be included in the MS magnet process. [/quote]
