It would have been seven but I Dream and Hope decided to close at the end of this year. Even though there are five with conditional continuance, only two have the kind of conditions that they [b]*must*[/b] meet each year or be closed -- IDEA and Social Justice. The others have conditions that say if they do not make progress the PCSB [b]*may*[/b] do an out of cycle review.[/quote]

It's kind of a pain to figure this out, I have to go through old board meetings. I'm sure it would be eight schools if Eagle had not closed. It wouldn't surprise me at all if Girls Global comes out with conditions, their CAPE stats took a nosedive. No conditions were applied to schools in the spring 2024 review cycle although maybe there should have been. In 2023, I believe Digital Pioneers and Statesmen received conditions. DC Scholars received conditions in December 2021, not sure that's still in effect. So that's five currently with conditions, three with preexisting conditions, for a total of eight. Might become nine if Girls Global gets one. Out of about 65 total charter school.  [/quote]
