The children of the plumbers, electricians etc will be fine if they follow their parents path. The kids of their of us with "office" jobs will have a rude awakening. I don't know about your kids, but mine do view some jobs as beneath them. I am not sure they will have the same success and luck we had. Sure we will leave them a lot money. But is that really good for them, the country, that they already know they will be likely set for the future by the time they are 21? I don't know
No it won’t be good for the electricians or plumbers. First off you will have a hoard of new entrants — the same students who were going to be electrical engineers and programmer will be very good electricians, and have better accounting skills and software skills so can run the business side more effectively. Second, the demise of all office jobs means no more new houses, no more renovations, no more fixing that broken outlet and instead stretching 3 extension cords to make the light work, people will turn off the toilet rather than fix it, etc Unless the wealthy decide to share it will be grim out there. Not even sure if investors will do well, who will be buying products and services?
