Perhaps not all of us. Religion (to me) is about happiness and fulfillment - certainly not fear and living forever.

Sure, but that’s not WHY I am faithful. The PP said religion is all about a desire to live forever (and fear). Neither of those are true for me.

People can be, and are,  happy and fulfilled without religion.  Only religion offers the opportunity to live forever, as long as you're good.  So it comes with the package.  It's easy to say that you don't care about the living forever part, but if you do religion correctly, you get to live forever.  That's what Christians believe, anyhow.[/quote]
