Why would they be required to?  You need to talk to the center about the particular food.  The providers may not be allowed to eat the food or may not be able to eat in front of the kids as they need to attend to the kids first.[/quote]

You are right. The daycare I am waiting for requires teachers to eat the food with the kids . To show by doing and probably to make sure the food is correct (temperature, not spoiled, etc). Our state requires them simply to sit with the kids.[/quote]
