Yeah, there's that other creative rostering with the finals (which we've heard horror stories as well), but in our case, my kid's team needed a win in our last game to have a chance to advance and the team they played -- which had struggled to that point (we're like 0-8 at that point) -- brought in new players that had no numbers, wore pennies and apparently the ref never checked the player cards. On top of that we knew they were associated with another rival club and likely hadn't played until that point. They ended up being that team's best players and we ended up tying. We complained and basically Super Y's response was yeah maybe rules were broken but said if they looked hard enough maybe they could find broken rules by our team and they are final decider of all things. Wasn't the best experience, clearly, and super shady. BUT we still didn't win and we did play the game (probably would have been a forfeit otherwise since it seems they were struggling to find players to play), so there's that.[/quote]
