And now the DC subreddit post by the mom whose 19 yo was detained returning from study abroad last evening. Again, a US born citizen.

DS and his 2 friends are supposed to spend 2 weeks outside of the US next month after graduation. We are of Italian descent and DS is sometimes confused as Latino because he has dark hair and naturally tan skin. The 2 guys he'll be traveling with are white and very obviously white in terms of skin tones and hair. I think they should cancel and instead go somewhere in the US to be safest.  [/quote]
