So you need to understand that certain psychological profiles which thrive on domination and bullying tend to flock to these professions. It's not just the decent, upright men and women who desire to serve their communities, saves people's lives, and catch "bad guys". In some of these people's minds, "bad guys" can mean whoever doesn't look like them. And in certain cases, they don't care who they bully, they get a thrill out of it, and are unleashed on whoever their superiors decide can be mistreated. Sadly, in these benighted times, there are a lot of people that suddenly seem to be OK to treat in an inhumane manner.[/quote]
