The student population is actually quite diverse. My kids will attend BCC unless the reshuffling from Woodward affects us. I value the diversity, but I grew up in the more homogenous Churchill cluster… and this is a very different environment. My hope is that going to school with kids from such a range of backgrounds is useful later when they are out in the “real world.” We have met many great teachers and my kids have great friends. Hey! Me too!  I also went to Churchill.  I have one graduating B-CC and another who is a freshman.  We have been very happy with the school overall, lockdowns aside.  My senior has had amazing teachers this year and really for all four years and got a ton of support through the college process.  My freshman is adjusted well and has her friends from middle school and has made new friends.  I would not shy away from the school[/quote]
