Sedate is a good word for this year’s dinner. No comedian. No president. Very few celebrities, aside from your odd “White Lotus” dad, “Family Guy” mom or “Breaking Bad” uncle. If you were very lucky, you might spy Bill Nye the Science Guy. For years, critics have been saying that this weekend is a bloated and opulent celebrity petting zoo, and that the dinner exhibited too much excess and coziness between the elites in the press and the government.

Politicians are just actors who are too ugly to make it in Hollywood.

This dinner is ridiculous, anyway. The only people who care about it are the msm and politicians. Walking a red carpet, ayfkm?
