If you’re really interested, I just think they’re both super smart, and I just enjoy their sense of humor. The float away in space that a PP referenced was part of an award show they hosted together and I think almost every joke hit. They had a recurring bit on SNL where they played the bush twins that was really hilarious.

Like a PP said I do think they changed the game for women in comedy and women writers. It’s such a misogynistic industry. Lorne Michaels has been quoted as saying that when Tina and Amy came on along with the other women in their group, Rachel Dratch etc., that he had never seen anything like it and they were “like ninjas.” I think it’s really hard to be a woman in comedy and a woman writer and I think it was even harder back then and I just admire them.
