I’m going to call the accountant Monday but I’m not sure how big a screwup this is.  I never filed any documents showing I’m her POA (although I am her POA and have all the legal documents to prove it).  I’ve been handling her taxes for years, even before her dementia got bad, and just sign on her behalf.
