A. Trump is not the pope or even the equivalent of the pope.

B. Trump is an authoritarian and has expressed admiration for other authoritarians, so it is completely consistent with his beliefs and practices that he meet with other authoritarians. The controversial people that Trump meets with, other than authoritarians, are Maga or Maga adjacent so that also tracks. [/quote]
