Cost of attendance is what it says on the website (we get no financial or merit aid) -- $16,450 tuition/fees. His apartment is $512/month. Food maybe $3k per year (we pay for his "dining dollars" as an off campus student and give him some grocery money but he pays for other food). VT gives very limited scholarships, so you can generally assume that you are paying what it says on the site. But, we've found off campus living costs less than the first year in the dorm.[/quote]
