There's a reason it's routinely listed as one of the more beautiful campuses and College "towns." It's laid out in a thoughtful, cohesive manner (academics around The Grove), dorms around a newly enclosed courtyard. The brand-new building -- just for Acccounting -- made my CPA-DH speechless.

The tour guide really glossed over the very large Greek community, which our family wasn't much interested in. Their on-campus Catholic church was beautiful.

If you go, try to schedule a seating at the [url=https://olemiss.edu/nhm/lenoir-dining/]Lenior Dining experience[/url] (their Culinary Arts program students). We, unfortunately, didn't "know" in time and it conflicted with our tour slot.

It isn't the easiest to get to with the nearest airport being Memphis. Two-lane backroads required at some point.

They take their SEC sports, tailgaiting, swag/gear and roundabouts seriously. It is [i]very, very[/i] "Southern."

It's a polite "no, thank you" from our DC but mostly because they don't have the specific degree program of interest and it's just. too. darn. far. (we drove from VA)
