The odds of finding someone good is significantly higher at the more highly ranked schools though, just because of the caliber of kids who get it. I find that the top kids at big solid state schools tend to be excellent; they’re usually extremely bright and have had to advocate for themselves in a big, somewhat impersonal environment.[/quote]
