If you want to visit Tivoli Gardens as part of the trip, you also need to check those dates.  They are open for the Christmas season (amazing), easter, summer, and I think there's a fall themed time as well but definitely check the dates carefully.  It opened for easter on Friday 4/4 and my parents went (without us) and had a delightful time.  I definitely prefer Tivoli to Legoland myself but you can't beat the Lego House and hotel.

To the person asking about 12 and 14 year olds...I'm not sure! I think my 9 (almost 10 yr old) will like it for at least another few years but I also think that 6 & 9 were perfect ages to go.  Lego House is awesome for any age (but of course best if you have kids or an ultra lego fan lol) but the hotel is definitely more geared towards elementary and younger but check out the website.  There is other lodging too and I saw a "Lego university" walking back which I haven't looked into at all but I wonder if they have some cool things for older kids??? [/quote]
