But they are assembled by American workers in America.  That's the point.  More jobs for Americans, which translates into more taxes paid to the U.S. Government (and state governments too).

I get your point. But you said “Buy American” as if that were a way to avoid the increased cost of new cars that will result from these tariffs. But if the “domestic” cars are made from foreign parts, all of which are subject to tariffs, it’s not. [/quote]
