Even if it weren't creepy and invasive, nobody has the staff to put an adult in every restroom to police them, even if only during breaks. So you either leave them open and available for mischief and mayhem, or you close them and let the good kids suffer.

The principle at Whitman sent out a letter this week advising that the vape detectors were now active and that students caught vaping or smoking would face consequences.  Not sure if they have been activated throughout the county or if this is rolling out on different timelines at different schools.  Hopefully this will lead to a better bathroom situation for the students.[/quote]
