Their fears are unfounded and only a result of hysterical media in Europe.

There is truly no difference in risk now for a French family than there was six months ago. If anything I’d argue it’s safer since crime rates have continued to decrease.

It's not hysterical when British, German and French tourists are yelled at by Border Control, turned away, or forced to spend weeks in detention even though their paperwork is perfectly in order!!! There is an official warning from these countries to be very careful if planning travel to the USA. Their citizens are heeding the warnings, as they should.

You need to get out of your media bubble and see the reality on the ground.
