DP. Thanks for proving once again that this is the meanest board on DCUM.

OP, I for one will be interested in hearing what happens. Please come update. I started GLP-1 3 months ago at 5'7 and 145 lbs. Now down to 129 lbs, and it happened without much effort at all. I've dieted successfully before, but it's such a slog. Physically painful for me, as I abhor hunger. With all the pressures in my life - three young kids, a busy career, a house to take care of - I just couldn't muster the willpower to lose the weight I wanted to lose. I am so grateful for the meds. I feel better than I have in years. Even though your current and goal weights sound low to me, only you know your body and what feels good on you.

I still feel a sense of shame that I resorted to taking a med to lose the weight I wanted to lose, so I get you not wanting to take the leap. But now that I have done it, I truly wish I would have started a long time ago. I feel such a sense of freedom around eating and food now, and I also feel so much prettier and happier at this lower weight. I am wearing a beautiful size 4 spring dress today that I've had hanging in my closet for the better part of decade that fit me like sausage casing just a few months ago...now it's perfect.
