It helps quiet the food noise similar to the way GLP-1s do without the gastro side effects that could complicate your IBS. A combination of vyvanse and wellbutrin (not just an anti-depressant) helped me a lot when I was in the throes of food addiction. It's not as swift of a "cure" chemically-speaking as GLP-1s, but it helps put your brain back in a place where it is more receptive to therapy and treating the why behind the food addiction. [/quote]
