[/quote] I agree the National debt is a problem, but there are only two way to address this problem raising taxes or cutting spending. In FY 24, the deficit was 1.7 Trillion. If you only want to reduce spending. You would have to eliminate all “discretionary” spending. So no more DOD, EPA, FDA, USDA, etc. Balancing the budget without increasing taxes would literally require us to eliminate the military entirely. The is no reasonable solution to the budget that does not involve some level of tax increases. [/quote]
