But when did we cross over into the darkest side of openly endorsing human rights abuses??? Outsourcing abuse is ethically equal to committing it. Who thought it was a good idea to send women to CECOT??? What were they imagining would happen to them?

Let’s just all take a step back and reflect on the fact that President Bukele thought the US went too far, that his pride and joy prison was not appropriate for women. He also thought that a Nicaraguan is not the same as a Venezuelan (are we just counting syllables here? How do you get these confused?). Bukele – who himself does not care about due process, who has created policies that encourage the routine rounding up and jailing of innocent people to meet quotas – this guy, thinks that Americans are incompetent and worse, and sent people back!

Everyone should take stock and contemplate how low we have sunk.
