The other tricky part of comp plan amendments is that it is difficult sue over a comp plan amendment (in Virginia) change because it typically does not provide a legal entitlement to develop the land on a stand alone basis.  You need to schedule a consult with a skilled land use attorney immediately if you want to strategize for a comp plan change lawsuit. [b]Virginia law only allows for people to file a lawsuit within the county within 30 days after a land use decision is made.[/b][/quote]
