Maybe you can have him waiting with a piece of ice before or after shots if you need that, or maybe you can identify a couple appointments that are more important/scary to you that you'd like him around for.  Maybe he can be the one to grab the meds from the fridge for you (if they're there) or line up the vials, alcohol swabs, needles as you're prepping.  [/quote]
