On its own, of course it isn't. We do the exact same thing -- and his door is closed. But she made a point to say that she closes both the baby's door and her own and doesn't use a monitor. Perhaps, as in our house, you can clearly hear -- but then why not say that? It's hardly unusual to put a child down for the night and not respond when the child doesn't cry. Perhaps the OP will clarify.[/quote]
