[/quote] Apples grow well (We had multiple trees in Western Loudoun) but they do attract pests unless you use a lot of pesticides. Specifically, those tent caterpillars (the ones that form those white tents full of bugs on trees by the highway) are very attracted to apple trees. [/quote]
