In HS kids have lots more latitude to take electives, and the only testing, the HSAs, are really basic and can be knocked off by most kids without a whole lot of effort. MCPS is ridiculous on some fronts, but I think the whole testing thing is overblown. Especially after my kids spent a week each doing ERBs in private school.[/quote]
