Part of what she did was disempower the dh to get close to the wife by exploiting the dh’s shortcomings and flaws ( especially things like watching porn which she would turn into them being deviants) So by the time she fully swept in, the dhs were afraid to truly lose the kids completely and were not seen as credible in terms of input and critiques of what was going on. She did not do this just to the Franke family, there was a pattern and families respected her authority as she was linked to the Church.[/quote]
