[/quote] Here is this year’s rubric. https://www.myschooldc.org/sites/default/files/dc/sites/myschooldc/page/attachments/SY24-25%20SWW_Admission%20Process%20Rubric_Final.pdf They have changed the GPA weighting so it’s more nuanced than PP describes (4.0 gets more points than even 3.8 this year), but it’s still true that teacher recommendations count for more than GPA. If a 4.0 kid didn’t get an interview it’s almost certainly because the recommendation scores weren’t high enough relative to other applicants. [/quote]
