We’ve tried fun science videos, camps, books etc. but she finds something to dislike about everything. She also refuses to do any music or sports program. We tried rewards too with very limited results.

She spends her time hanging out with friends, watching lots of videos about skincare, reading teen romance novels…

We feel she has so much potential but don’t know how to help her. Parent teacher conference is coming up and I don’t know how to tell her teachers that despite what they suggest she just doesn’t want to learn anything outside of school….

Any suggestions on how to help her find her own motivation? [/quote]
