[/quote] Yeah, it needs to go through the AD. I think the best you could do is asked for a specific person/parent to be brought on as official assistant coach. If the head coach doesn’t really want to do the job, you’ll likely get all the responsibility with little pushback. Then the following year you’d be in a better position to offer to be head coach[/quote]
