The bedside manner comments about Dr. D always amuse me as this is serious business and you’re not paying him to be your friend. He was never rude, just direct in saying: “Here’s exactly what you need to do, so you better do it correctly to have the best chance.” I know emotions and feelings are all over the place during IVF, but he’s a legend in the field for a reason so don’t take it all so personally. We’re down-to-earth but get-it-done type people and have nothing but high praise for him. Meanwhile, he and my husband were the best of buds throughout the entire process, which looking back set a good tone throughout the whole ordeal. I am a get it done person too.  Never took IVF too emotionally.  But when DiMattina said to me “who knows, maybe your God will get you pregnant” while dismissing me from his office for asking a simple question (limiting the number of eggs fertilized), that was it for me. He’s an ass.  I went on and easily had four children through shady grove. [/quote]
