The bedside manner comments about Dr. D always amuse me as this is serious business and you’re not paying him to be your friend. He was never rude, just direct in saying: “Here’s exactly what you need to do, so you better do it correctly to have the best chance.” I know emotions and feelings are all over the place during IVF, but he’s a legend in the field for a reason so don’t take it all so personally. We’re down-to-earth but get-it-done type people and have nothing but high praise for him. Meanwhile, he and my husband were the best of buds throughout the entire process, which looking back set a good tone throughout the whole ordeal. Mental and emotional fortitude, along with a good attitude, are just as important as the physical aspects when it comes to IVF.[/quote]
