People on this board seem to be thinking that folic acid causes autism. That's not what any of this means. Nor does it cure autism. It has been proven to help verbal skills. Period. There is also anecdotal evidence it helps people with hypermobility. In any case, knowing you or your child has a vitamin deficiency- you treat the deficiency. Also, folonic acid and speech in ASD has been known for years. Who makes money off treating it? Not big pharmacy.
