From McLean you have million other options that don't involve driving into Maryland. The Arlington Y has gymnastics. Arlington County has a Greta program, but getting a spot as a non-resident is almost impossible. But for preschool gymnastics, My Gym or Little Gym are absolutely fine. Find a place close to you and go there. Don't drive over the Legion Bridge for preschool gymnastics.
The Arlington Y is further from my house than Dynamic and actually Dawes is 3 mins closer than Dynamic. I didn’t come here for general recs on gymnastics programs - I’m just looking for comments from people with experience with either of the two specific programs I asked about — which one is better and which has more families from McLean. I’ve never been on this sports forum before so maybe it’s not a useful one to post in….
No one from McLean is going to Dawes for preschool gymnastics. No one drives over the river for preschool gymnastics, not even the most insane parents convinced their child is going to the Olympics I've had the misfortune of knowing. I've been the preschool program director for multiple gyms. I'm telling you it largely does not matter where you go. Find a place close to you that is clean, prioritizes safety, and makes it fun. Don't go driving all over for preschool gymnastics. I recommended Arlington Y because they are on the same side of the bridge and I like their program. But if you are dead set on driving from McLean to Montgomery county, by all means, go right ahead.
