Op here. I work from home and I feel cold when I step outside. I don't exercise or do any sports. He wears 2 layers long sleeves plus jacket and long pants daily going to school, and I leave work early to pick him up and go straight to practice this winter. He does not complain, so I don't know. ... I'm sorry, have we completely forgotten how to dress in layers? If it's cold outside and they have to be outside for longer than 30 seconds or so, just put them in a sweatshirt and sweatpants over their basketball clothes and have them remove the warm layers when they walk into the gym.

Snap pants are cool though, you can get those off and on quickly without taking your shoes off.  I like those workout pants with the zippers on the side, except sometimes my basketball shoes are too big to get them off.[/quote]
