Why are MoCo politicians so worried? A lot of housing is going to be freed up due to immigration raids and crackdowns.  Tons of feds are gonna flee the DMV after their jobs loss.  MoCo should be more worried how they're going to be able all of the unemployment and huge tax losses due to large hits from loss of income taxes and loss of property taxes as people have to foreclose. Homes may crash in value, hitting their pocketbooks even more, because Trump is dismantling the govt exactly like he said he would.  He is going to follow through on divesting the govt from DC too and spreading it out all over the country = far less housing demand.

What are they going to build? Ghost cities in China?  The rug is being pulled from MoCo as we speak.  Expect dire economics for the county over the next 2 decades. Trump is causing irreversible damage. Contractors will follow suit too once Trump moves agencies. [/quote]
