So I get this for assignments for which you are setting a due date in quarter 3, but for a quiz that's taken in quarter 2?  It's just entirely at a teacher's discretion to choose which quarter to place the grade in? Isn't this why there are 2 days off schools for grading days at the end of the quarter? PP you quoted - it has nothing to do with me inputting grades. It has everything to do with giving students the extended time they need and grace to students who are already crunched at the end of the quarter trying to raise their Q2 grades. By giving them a Q3 assignment, they can put it lower on the priority list and focus on Q2 things. I can't just not teach new material or give new assessments, so I view the last week of the quarter as a "buffer period" where I'm not piling on their already heavy workload. I thought I was helping students, but your attitude about me getting plenty of time to grade shows me that you can't please everybody  :roll: [/quote]
