So I get this for assignments for which you are setting a due date in quarter 3, but for a quiz that's taken in quarter 2?  It's just entirely at a teacher's discretion to choose which quarter to place the grade in? Isn't this why there are 2 days off schools for grading days at the end of the quarter? I am guessing your kid did well on this quiz and needed the grade?  The opposite is often true- that it is more generous on the part of the teacher to put it in the next quarter.  What if precious had had an “A” all quarter, bombed his quiz, and then had no time to recover from that?  Someone would complain then, too.  Poor teachers.  They’re damned no matter what they do.[/quote]
