Barcelona already win it halfway through the season. 5/10 best women players in the world play on Barcelona and they spend much much more than any other team. Real Madrid is there closest to”competition” and they usually beat them by 4-5 goals. Would not recommend to friend. Barcelona are a joy to watch but without the competition it’s not very exciting.

Esther Gonzalez (a Spanish player who used to play for Read Madrid) plays on Gotham FC and stated that the every NWSL match is like “playing Barcelona every week” She said it’s much more competitive and you don’t know who is gonna win so everyone has a chance.

Champions league: very boring to watch early on but once it gets to the quarter finals it’s much more exciting. It’s pretty much Barcelona vs Lyon vs Chelsea as to who will win. Arsenal, Bayern munchen and Wolfsburg tend to go somewhat far especially Wolfsburg, but I already mentioned that the expectations are low in the next coming years due to internal club issues. No you obviously do not watch the other leagues. The talent and level of soccer played by the top teams in those European leagues is insane and is unlike what is on display in the NWSL. The speed of play and technical ability is just at another level. It actually looks pretty close to the European men’s leagues. Not many of the USWNT players could play on a top team there. Remember when Lavelle went over and had problems breaking in the line up?

The NWSL is “competitive” or flat because all the teams have about the same talent. It is a make work league for USWNT players. The bottom teams can beat the league leaders because there is little difference. No team stand outs. Any NWSL team would be a 500 or lower in Liga F, WSL and Première Ligue.

The most competitive soccer leagues are the men’s European leagues (EPL, La Liga, Serie, Bundesliga). They have a very few strong teams 2-4 teams(the 4 champions league slots money helps) and the rest are some where on a bell curve. A normal competitive league has a bell curve. [/quote]
