If they want good food and dont drink... why do they want an AI? What do they think that gives them?
I am honestly not sure haha! I think they think resort = AI.
I think that's a common misconception, AIs were very popular in the late 90s/early 00s and people have it in their mind that it means "high end". It doesn't in most cases unless VERY high end and those are rare (but a few are mentioned here on DCUM time to time). Typically the AI crowd are families who drink a ton and aren't foodies b/c they food is bulk prepared. Think cruise on land. Its a fun option to go with multiple families but I wouldn't do this with my parents. Most resorts (e.g. 4S, Westin) will have complimentary water sports which is nice especially if your father is adventurous. I have heard people that liked Bolongo Bay resort in St. Thomas (which is AI) but can't speak to how good the food is.
