A cold snap in south Florida isn’t actually cold. It’s like 70 at the lowest. The issue is the air conditioning. Pack lightweight and use a light sweater for restaurants.
That is absolutely not true. It was in the 40s and 50s earlier this week - and went into the 30s at night. We're a bit north of where OP is doing, but I was wearing a puffer, long pants, and boots for much of the week - while shopping for wool sweaters. It may or may not get that cold again this winter. OP will already have cold weather clothes with her because of skiing so I don't think she'll need extra clothes as far as that goes. But what to pack if it's warmer? Whatever you ordinarily wear in 70 and 80 degree weather! For me (51 years old, a pretty casual but also fairly vain person) that's shorts, t-shirts, sundresses - and always a jean jacket or some other topper, because it is frigidly air conditioned inside a lot of places. I don't know what that means for OP - or, honestly, what's good to wear over int he fancier part of the state. Linen pants, maybe?
