We keep breaking records of average annualized max temps all over the world, every year. But seasonally, we can get cold days. Even with the polar vortex coming next week, we are not anywhere near breaking the record lows for January in DC! On Jan 17th, 1982, it was -5F in DC. Not counting windchill. We haven't gone that low since. But I know I'm talking to a brain-dead zombie. [/quote]
