OP here - It's early - kid is only a sophomore but thinks he's interested in places like UVM, UC Boulder, Colorado State, UDenver, UOregon[/quote]

I think your kid should have a really good shot at that list. Our kid has some overlapping schools and I think you're good with that level of rigor for those schools. You could check in with a college counselor, of course, but I think these would be good targets.[/quote]
