It was single-digit cold, not much warmer during the day, and crazy wind chill - like 30+mph wind IIRC. Busses not starting was one problem. Wind chill for walkers or kids waiting at bus stops was another. It was actually a legit frostbite/hypothermia risk, especially for kids sitting at a bus stop for an hour+ waiting for a bus that wouldn't start.[/quote]
