In HH you go to the beach and golf. Are you looking for rental recs? Or activity recs? Kiawah is another good option and since it’s a resort, a ton of planned daily activities with rental condos available. Just keep the puppy leashed at all times, there are gators.
Activity recs - not big golfers but love the beach. Biking? Kayaking? Anything else or is it really just golf and beach?
We have a house on HHI. There is a lot more than golf and beach. Beach weather will be hit or miss. Frequently warm enough to lay on beach mid day that time of year. You can bike everywhere, great network of paths. And you’ll the beach sand is packed enough that you can ride bike on the beach. Depending on where you stay there is typically pickleball, tennis, croquet etc. Plenty of kayaking options. You can do a quick day trip to Savannah. Plus there are plenty of the proverbial touristy activities you would expect at the beach, mini golf, ropes course, jet skis, go karts, ice cream candy shops…. Puppy will be fine and don’t let the people with gator fear mongering change your mind. You have to go out of your way or be stupid to engage with a gator. Ie don’t walk dog along edge of pond. Let me know if you have any specific questions, happy to answer.
